Retail Store Manager – RASA LIMITED Trading as Challenge Omarama

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Store Manager to leadthe day-to-day operations of our busy Challenge Service Station and retail store in
Omarama, located in the scenic Otago region. This role offers the opportunity to manage a dynamic team in a fast-paced retail and fuel service environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee daily operations of the service station and convenience retail store.
- Lead, train, supervise and roster staff to ensure efficient operation and coverage.
- Manage stock levels and place supplier orders to ensure product availability.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve complaints to maintain satisfaction.
- Monitor sales and implement strategies to achieve business performance targets.
- Ensure full compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and company
- Maintain store cleanliness, organisation, and visual presentation.
- Prepare and present sales and performance reports to company management.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail or customer service roles.
- Knowledge of inventory control, stock ordering, and cash handling.
- Sound organisational and time management skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to work on a rotating roster, including weekends, evenings,
and public holidays as required.
Location: Challenge Service Station, Omarama, Otago, New Zealand
