Bar manager
Location- Blenheim Central. 1 position Available- Bar Manager.
You must have at least 24 Months of Hospitality experience OR Relevant study.30 to 40 Hours per week.
Cafe/Restaurant/Bar is open 7 days, you will be working 5 days - flexible roster including weekends and public holidays.
We are a busy Cafe/Restaurant/Bar in Blenheim and are currently seeking capable and knowledgeable bar Manager for our Cafe/ Restaurant/Bar. who will be Working close to the management.
We have high standards and expect that you will use your skills and experience to achieve the required business goals.
Pay rate- $25.00-$30.00 an hour Depends on Experience.

Bar Manager job description:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the barManage the bar budget and keeping within it, Be able to do stock control and inventory management .
To ensure staff understand the expediency required during service and that staff deliver QUICK and FRIENDLY service to all guests.
Strong relationship builder, team player and problem solver.
Strong communicator both verbal and written.
Must have a good knowledge of cocktails and mixtures
To ensure that courteous, efficient and friendly service is provided at all times to customers as well as management and staff alike.Evaluate self-on-the-job performance, as well as other staff Ensure that hours of operation are in compliance with local laws.
To be aware of and enforce the laws in relation to alcohol consumption and host responsibility.
Maintain health and safety measures and cleanliness Help, drive, motivate, and encourage the staff to achieve sales targets.
Handle customer complaints, issues and questions as required
To ensure you have a complete understanding and operate in accordance
with, the policies and procedures in relations to : o Fire and Emergency
o Hygiene and groomingo General Health and Safety
You must be Honest, Reliable and be available any day including Weekends and/or any public holiday according to flexible schedule to suit the business requirement.
