About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-orientedGraduate Electrical Engineerto join our engineering team. This role is designed for recent graduates or soon-to-be graduates who are eager to apply their technical knowledge, gain practical experience, and develop their career in a supportive and innovative environment.You will work closely with senior engineers on the design, development, testing, and implementation of electrical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical systems, components, and products.
- Support senior engineers with project planning, documentation, and reporting.
- Conduct research, testing, and troubleshooting to support ongoing engineering projects.
- Participate in the development of technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, industry regulations, and company procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and production leads.
- Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to improve systems, processes, and efficiency.
- Assist with firmware, PCB, and electronic architecture and design development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) from a New Zealand tertiary education institute within the past 12 months.
- Strong foundation in electrical principles, circuit design, and control systems.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as EPLAN, MATLAB, and/or similar tools.
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be eligible to legally work in New Zealand.
