The Role
We currently require a Yard Assistant for our vehicle sales operation. This is an important role with a lot of variety and is responsible for ensuring all vehicles on the vehicle sales yard are in saleable condition.
Duties include:- Maintaining attractive presentation of vehicles and sales yards
- Ensuring all vehicles on the yard comply with regulatory requirements (ie current WOF, registration, RUC where required, window cards, fuel saver certificates, etc)
- Assisting with identification of issues with stock vehicles, (eg fuel, service or grooming required)
- Managing stock of vehicles held in offsite storage
- Pick up and delivery of vehicles to storage, outfitters and other third party suppliers
- Pick up and drop off customers and staff
- Assisting with vehicle photography for online sales
- Meeting and greeting customers on the yard before introduction to a sales consultant
- Be energetic, show initiative and be able to work productively unsupervised
- Proactively contribute to maintaining and improving the quality of the yard display
- Have pride in the presentation of our "shop front"
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Have a full, clean driver's licence.
