Retail Assistant -Natural Foods Grocery
Job starts early January. Please choose one of the shifts below:
#1: Full time (37 hours a week) position.Sunday-Thursday work, with Friday and Saturday off.
#2: Full time (40 hours a week) position.Tuesday-Saturday work, with Sunday and Monday off.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Follow procedures as instructed
- Effectively communicate with team members and team leaders
- Follow food safety, hygiene and safety protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of the store
- Develop good knowledge of products and placement
- Maintain proper and safe use of all equipment and tools
- Know and adhere to security procedures
- Receive and merchandise products
- Operate POS register and tally customer purchases
- Collect payment, make change, and handle exchanges
- Count in/out and organise cash drawer
- Report to manager any reportable items
- Assist other departments when required
