Retail Assistant – Vape Retail - CBD

We’re seeking a dependable and customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our specialist vape store. You’ll support the Store Manager with daily operations, assist customers, process transactions, and help maintain a clean, organised, and compliant store environment.

This position suits someone who enjoys retail, works confidently on their own, and has an interest in the vape industry.

• Welcome and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner
• Process EFTPOS and POS transactions accurately
• Verify IDs and ensure full compliance with NZ vape regulations
• Restock products and maintain store presentation
• Complete daily task checklists (cleaning, stock, displays)
• Report any issues or concerns to the Store Manager promptly
• Provide factual, compliant information to customers

• Previous experience in retail or hospitality preferred
• Must be 18 years or older (as per legal requirements)
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, honest, and capable of working independently
• Knowledge of vape products or industry experience is a strong advantage
• Available to work some weekends and public holidays
