- Support 2 mornings and 1 afternoon per week
We're seeking a reliable and energetic individual to support a family in Levin on a casual basis. This role involves working two mornings and one afternoon per week.
What We're Looking For:
- A physically fit caregiver or disability support worker with experience or an understanding of behavioural disorders.
- Patience, resilience, and a strong commitment to your role.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanour.
- Ability to manage tasks effectively and take detailed notes.
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
- L2, L3 and L4 health qualification essential
- If you have no health qualification your application may not be considered
- Previous experience is a plus, but we offer training for the right candidate.
- Must have the legal right to work in NZ.
Your Role:
- Provide support on scheduled days (two mornings and one afternoon per week).
- Follow instructions from the client's guardian.
- Actively engage in family activities.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience as a caregiver, support worker, or working with children.
- Is energetic, takes initiative, and is dependable.
- Is punctual, honest, and caring.
