Float Factory is looking to grow and develop as a business to improve manufacturing processes continuously.

The Role:
We’re looking for a skilled fabricator and welder to join our team, working with aluminium and steel to produce top-tier horse floats and trailers. If you have experience in aluminium welding and steel fabrication—with or without coach building experience—you could be a great fit!

This role offers variety, hands-on work, the use of a range of materials and machines and the opportunity to develop new skills and experience in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate and assemble aluminium and steel components for floats and trailers.
  • Perform welding tasks with precision and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Follow quality assurance protocols to ensure the highest standards of workmanship are met.
  • Deal and interact with customers, addressing their needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment and ensure the success and enjoyment of everyone involved.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in aluminium welding and steel fabrication.
  • Coach building experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.
