At E-Cycle, we specialise in recycling electronic waste and polystyrene. Our key objective is to divert products and materials from landfill. We are offering a new full time permanent employment role based in Palmerston North, in an industrial environment.
The role is a ‘hands on’ function which requires some physicality and will include activities such as dismantling electronic items with tools, sorting and grading materials, unpacking and packing products, packing and unloading trucks, collecting items from customers, processing products with machinery as well as general warehouse duties.Possessing a full drivers licence or having a forklift licence will be an advantage.
The role will be reporting to our Branch manager and will be based in a warehouse with some repetitive work. Remuneration will be negotiable.
Our ideal candidate will:- Be starting a working career or have a few years experience
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Physically able to lift items up to 40kg
- Have lots of energy and be enthusiastic
- Have good attention to detail
- Be punctual, self-motivated and can work without supervision
- Practical and good with tools
- Represent our company well if servicing customers
- Be prepared to start as soon as possible
