Carpenters & Experienced Builders Wanted!
Pay Rate: $30 – $40 per hour (experience dependent) + Holiday Pay + Kiwisaver

Join Our Team of Skilled Tradies! Tradestaff is on the lookout for qualified and experienced Carpenters & Builders to join our team in Whakatane. We have a range of exciting projects across the region — from new builds and renovations to commercial fit-outs and residential maintenance.
Whether you’re a seasoned chippy looking for your next challenge or a talented builder wanting consistent, local work — we’ve got you covered.
What You’ll Be Doing- Framing, formwork, and finishing carpentry
- Reading and interpreting plans and drawings
- Fit-outs, installs, and maintenance work
- Working with both timber and steel framing
- Ensuring top-quality workmanship and site safety
- Great work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong understanding of site safety and NZ building standards
- Own basic tools and reliable transport
Bonus: LBP license or Site Safe card (but not essential – we can help with this!)
