Mechanical Fitter

About the role
We're seeking skilled Mechanical Fitters to join the team at a large-scale steel mill project in New Zealand. This role offers hands-on mechanical work with a company that values safety, precision, and excellence.
Benefits- $28-$32 per hour (based on experience)

- Weekly pay cycle
- Monday-Friday hours

- Installation and maintenance of mechanical systems
- Pipe fitting, valve replacements, and alignment
- Reading and interpreting technical/mechanical drawings
- Assisting with shutdown and commissioning tasks
- Working to strict safety and quality standards
- Proven experience as a mechanical fitter on industrial or commercial projects
- Comfortable reading and working from drawings and specifications
- Valid Site Safe ticket
- Full working rights in New Zealand
- Current NZ driver's license preferred
