Cook Positions

Positions Available:
  • 3 Cook roles – Based in Canterbury Region Only
  • 1 Cook role – Candidate must be available to work in different store locations across

Canterbury and West Coast Regions.

Key Responsibilities: Preparing and cooking food

  • Seasoning food during cooking
  • Examining foodstuffs to ensure quality
  • Regulating temperatures of fryers, grills and other cooking equipment
  • Portioning food, placing it on plates and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes
  • Storing food in temperature controlled facilities
  • Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
  • May Plan menu and estimate food requirements
  • May Train other kitchen staff
  • Keep workplace and equipment clean and tidy according to maintenance schedule
Requirements:
  • Min. 2 years’ industry experience OR Level 4 qualification
  • Able to work weekends/rostered shifts
  • Must maintain tidy, professional standard

Hours & Pay: Full-time, permanent (30+ hrs/week) | $25–$30/hr

Store Manager Positions

Positions Available:
  • 5 Store Managers – Based in Canterbury Region Only
  • 1 Store Manager – Candidate must be available to work in different store locations across

Canterbury and West Coast Regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate pricing policies and price setting by reviewing merchandising activities.
  • Checking stock, adding or removing stock as per their demand and always keep in
demand items in stock, maintaining records of stock levels and financial transaction.
  • Promoting and advertising the outlet goods and services.
  • Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulation.
  • Hire and train the staff; organize, plan and arrange staff training.
  • Communicate with management and staff
  • Responsible for daily banking, staff rosters and staff salaries.
  • Advertising, sales promotion and display plans, determining additional needed sales
promotion.
  • Analysing, operating the financial statements for profitability ratios.
  • Dealing with accountant for PAYE and GST.
  • Ensure the standards of food comply and legal requirement.
  • Dealing with Govt. organisation such as police and council officer.
  • Ensure area of the store is tidy and clean all the time.
  • Any another task as reasonably requested by Director/ Owner.
Requirements:
  • Min. 2 years’ relevant experience OR relevant diploma
  • Strong customer service & problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure & on weekends

Hours & Pay: Full-time, permanent (30+ hrs/week) | $30–$35/hr

Assistant Manager Positions (2 – Canterbury)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the Store Manager/Operation Manager to implement pricing policies and
price setting.
  • Checking stock, adding or removing stock as per their demand and always keep in
demand items in stock, maintaining records of stock levels.
  • Promoting and advertising the outlet goods and services in consultation with the Store
Manager.
  • Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulation.
  • Assist the Store Manager/Operation Manager to Hire and train the staff.
  • Regular Communication with Store Manager/Operation Manager and staff
  • Discussing with Store Manager/Operation Manager about Staff roasters and be
available to assist on staff salaries and daily banking.
  • Providing input to Management on sales promotion and display plans.
  • Be aware of PAYE and GST and is available to deal with accountant if & when
required.
  • Ensure the standards of food comply with legal requirement.
  • Ensure area of the store is tidy and clean all the time.
  • Take up any other job responsibility if requested by the Store Manager/Operation

Manager/ Owner.

Requirements:
  • 6 months’ experience OR relevant certificate
  • Excellent customer service & communication skills
  • Ability to handle pressure & work weekends

Hours & Pay: Full-time, permanent (30+ hrs/week) | $25–$30/hr (DOE)

Kitchen Hand Positions (2 – Canterbury)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning kitchens and food preparation areas.
  • Wash Utensils, Pizza pans, pots and other dishes.
  • Placed cleaned dishes in appropriate shelves, cabinets or other storage areas.
  • Assembling and preparing ingredients for cooking, and preparation of food, assist
with food preparation.
  • Remove Rubbish
  • Ensure Work areas are kept clear.
  • Implement all hygiene and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Responsible and Respectful
  • Take up any other job responsibility if requested by store manager or Owner.
Requirements:
  • Positive attitude & team player
  • Flexible with shifts, good time management
  • Food hygiene awareness
  • Weekend availability

Hours & Pay: Full-time, permanent (30+ hrs/week) | $24.25–$26/hr
