About Us:

We are a new company in New Zealand’s trenchless pipe rehabilitation industry — proudly backed by a well-established and reputable civil infrastructure company. With brand-new, industry-leading UV relining and CCTV equipment, we’re bringing a fresh, innovative approach to trenchless works, built on quality, performance, and people.

Our team culture is everything — we value loyalty, teamwork, and professionalism, and we’re building a crew that genuinely enjoys what they do and takes pride in doing it well.

Position Overview:

We’re looking for experienced Pipe Relining Crew and Site Foremen to join our team. This is a great opportunity for those who want more than just a job — it’s a chance to help shape a growing business, work with the latest tech, and build a career in a company that does things the right way.

You’ll work on a variety of trenchless and civil infrastructure projects, both locally and nationally — so travel will be required, and flexibility and reliability are key.

We’re Currently Hiring For:

  • Pipe Relining Crew
  • Site Foremen

We’re seeking experienced individuals with a background in:

  • UV pipe relining or other trenchless rehabilitation methods
  • CCTV pipe inspections and reporting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain modern UV relining and CCTV equipment
  • Carry out pipe preparation, liner installations, and inspection reporting
  • Assist with other general civil works as required
  • Maintain a strong focus on health, safety, and quality at all times
  • Collaborate with project engineers, supervisors, and site crews to align with project goals, promote innovation, and ensure safe, high-quality delivery
  • Work throughout NZ — travel is a core part of the role
  • Lead and support crews on-site (for Foreman roles)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in pipe relining, CCTV inspection, or civil infrastructure work
  • Reliable, hard-working, and a team player with a safety-first mindset
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physically fit and able to work in varied and potentially extreme conditions (heat, cold, confined spaces, dust, noise, etc.)
  • Demonstrated commitment to high safety standards and quality outcomes
  • Full driver's licence - Class 2 licence (advantageous)
  • Confined Space and Working at Heights certifications (preferred)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test

What We Offer:

  • Brand-new equipment and tools – reliable, modern, and efficient
  • A supportive, down-to-earth team culture
  • Competitive pay with long-term career prospects
  • Real opportunities to step up into leadership or grow with the business
  • Backed by an experienced and stable parent company

How to Apply:

Send your CV to ryan@waipacivil.co.nz or contact Ryan George on 0274433065 for a confidential chat.

Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews. We thank all applicants for their interest in joining our team.
