Christchurch - Full-time& part-time kitchen cook wanted!
Full time for an experienced chef /cook 35-45 hour a week and 15 to 20 hours for a part-timex2 position. Also we are looking for a full-time chef/cook for a Barrington store site as well.
This job is an ideal for someone who has good cooking experience with short orders in busy establishments that can handle pressure with friendly personality, work fast, reliable, take initiatives, sense of urgency and an ability to stay calm under pressure to join our friendly team of awesome people in a busy city center hub.
The hours are 35-45 hours a week mostly from 4.00pm until 11.00pm (Must be able to work on "WEEKEND"). Our opining hours are 11am until 10.00pm. More hours would be committed to the right person after training.
Jobs includes assembling high quality ingredients to make high quality food for UBEREATS, DOORDASH and in house customers but also food preparations and general kitchen work such doing some dishes, closing cleaning which includes equipment etc.
MUST HAVE AN EXPEREINCE in a busy kitchen with short orders experience in restaurants, Cafes, or any establishment that is fast pace and busy although our concept is just assembling foods and light food cooking but the pace is fast and run like a live kitchen and mimic to a busy restaurant atmosphere.We prep everything in house so solid prepping experience is a must. More hours can be negotiated later down the track for the right person. Must have good command in spoken English.
