DELIVERY PERSON - CASUAL
Are you happy to be out and about!!We are looking for a reliable and careful driver to fill in at our busy catering company.
Monday to Friday. Daytime hoursThis is a casual position and with no set hours
Flexibility essential due to the variable demands of catering and events.
Likely hours will fluctuate between 5 to 15 hours each week.
Your role will ensure……- our loyal customers receive their catering on time.
- the food arrives looking as good as when it left the kitchen.
- delivered by a smiling and cheerful driver.
- You need to be cool under pressure,
- not phased by Christchurch traffic
- able to think outside the square to meet all deadlines.
- be willing to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in as some locations are upstairs
- Some events require setting up of food, tea and coffee.
- a clean and valid NZ Driver’s License
- excellent time management to meet the scheduled delivery deadlines
- to be focused on customer service
- a good knowledge of the Christchurch streets
- Capable of some heavy lifting
- to be completely reliable
- extremely tidy and well presented.
- able to work autonomously
Flexibility for occasional weekend or early morning deliveries would be an advantage.
Essential checklist- full NZ drivers license
- a valid NZ work visa
- able to work under pressure.
- able to work flexible hours with some split shifts
- good command of the English language
