Be responsible for the administration needs of Social Work kaimahi including but not limited to the following: Assistance with financial plans, data collection and scheduling Creation and distribution of key communications across the site Data and File Management Liaising with vendors, casual staff, and other stakeholders Working with various cultural groups and people from different backgrounds Booking rooms, answering phones, and assisting on the reception desk Organising welcomes/whakatau for newcomers and whānau as and when required Dealing with critical scenarios in a calm, professional manner Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bringKey requirements of the role include: Full clean New Zealand drivers licence is required Supporting the team with all aspects of Health and Safety Possession of a strong computer and IT knowledge Administration skills such as typing, reporting and responding to Site needs Cultural awareness and an understanding of Tikanga Māori principles A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi Strong time management Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt to your audience Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture Nōu te rourou | What's in it for youOranga Tamariki offer a step based remuneration package, that offers progression annually for experience through tenure.
