The Opportunity:We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Setter/Operator to join our dynamic production team. You will play a critical role in producing the precision components that power Anura’s amphibious systems. This hands-on role requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining our high manufacturing standards.
Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce components that meet precise specifications.
Load materials, adjust tools, and configure machinery for specific job requirements.Consult with our CNC Machinist and Programmer, and occasionally with Assembly, Quality Control, and Engineering leads.
Refer to the Work Centre Schedule and Job Traveler to manage and update tasks.
Ensure all manufacturing is executed in line with company safety and quality standards.
Accurately record job progress, time taken, and relevant notes in our DBA system.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with company policies.
Contribute to process improvements and share insights for enhanced efficiency.

About You: Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Setter/Operator.
Strong understanding of CNC setup, operation, and maintenance.Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to follow technical drawings and production plans.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Safety-conscious with a proactive approach to workplace health and safety.
