Clinical Psychologist - Te Whetu Tawera

We are looking for a Psychologist with a clinical scope of practice for Te Whetu Tawera acute mental health unit at Auckland City Hospital. The candidate would join the multidisciplinary teams in offering assessment, formulation and brief psychological intervention to tangata whaiora in hospital who are acutely unwell.

If you are midlevel Clinical Psychologist who has an interest in mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, CBT, ACT etc Has experience working in an inpatient unit including group work and an interest in ensuring high quality, safe and equitable services we invite you to apply to join our team.

Nga Pukenga Motuhake | Important Skills

You will have a commitment to biculturalism, a commitment to achieving equitable outcomes for Maori. You will also have a Post graduate degree in Clinical Psychology (or its recognised equivalent) and registration with the NZ Psychologists Board with a Clinical Scope of practice and a Current Annual Practicing Certificate.

You will have experience with facilitating groups and may have Neuro-psychological / Cognitive assessment skills as well as well-formed skills in CBT and DBT.
