If you enjoy the challenge of meaningful workthat makes an impact on people's lives, then this is the role for you.About theTeam/Service Location MHNASC is afriendly, supportive and hardworking team who:Believe that caring for each other is an essential part of working in themental health field.Are passionate about finding solutions for the people that we work with.Will support you to extend your knowledge and expertise as a clinician/teamleader.About you Registeredmental health professional with current practising certificate and a minimum of 5 years clinical experience.Experiencein leading a team of clinicians and administration staff.Experiencein negotiation and networking across several disciplines.Experiencein taking ownership and accountability and responsibility for the role.Experiencein anticipating, identifying, resolving clinical and administrative/managementproblems to the desired goals.Experiencein managing a business operation.Experiencein managing change.Sound knowledge of MHNASC and NGO services (desired).Demonstratesan understanding of the significance of and obligations under Te Tiriti oWaitangi, including how to apply Te Tiriti principles in a meaningful way inthe service coordinator role with a commitment to achieving equitable outcomesfor Māori.A personalcommitment to on-going learning and development.Strong andsuccessful experience in leading and delivering comprehensive assessments, andworking in collaboration with people and their whānau to ensure best possiblehealth and wellbeing outcomes.Record ofworking successfully within complex systems to collaborate and facilitatepositive outcomes.Experiencein using critical thinking and judgement on how best to allocate resources tosupport the recommendations from the assessment.Proficiencyin using technology within the workplace.A highstandard of written and spoken English.Fulldriver's licence.Working at HealthNew Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is'the weaving of wellness'.
