- about the role The Coordinator Learning Facilities role is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support and will be the first point of contact for all enquiries.
You will support the delivery of training programmes and courses, working closely with Training colleagues to help deliver our Training Strategy.Key responsibilities include:Welcoming visitors and ensuring a high standard of customer serviceCoordinating Health and Safety inductions for all site visitorsSupporting improvements to administrative systems and processes in line with Business Excellence principlesProviding administrative support for career and volunteer firefighter training programmesAssisting with event coordination, including awards evenings This is a fixed-term role starting ASAP through to 30th September 2026.
The role provides cover for a secondment and will remain in place until the substantive employee returns.
Ko tāu nā i tēnei tūranga- What you'll bring to the role:This role supports the day-to-day operations of the Training Centre, so you'll need to be adaptable, proactive, and ready to pitch in where needed.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): reception duties, correspondence, maintaining office supplies, setting up training rooms, organising catering, updating databases and intranet sites, managing mail and courier services, and preparing training materials.
