What the Role Involves:- Supervising and coordinating daily concrete and civil works on-site
- Managing a team of workers and subcontractors
- Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification
- Enforcing safety protocols and quality control procedures
- Liaising with project managers, engineers, and clients
- Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress
- Has experience with concrete or general construction (supervisory experience is a bonus but not essential)
- Is practical, reliable, and able to think on their feet
- Can read basic plans or follow instructions accurately
- Is safety-conscious and takes pride in producing tidy, solid work
- Can lead a team in a respectful, down-to-earth way
- Has a full NZ driver’s licence (Class 1)
- Full-time, permanent role based in Dannevirke
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience
