Warehouse Storeperson
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Store Person to work the night shift. This role is based in Ōtautahi supporting our busy Warehouse Operations team.}}
In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate picking and packing of orders, stock replenishment, and effective inventory management within our busy warehouse environment.
This is a night shift position starting at 5:00 pm, with applicable night shift allowances provided. This role is well‑suited to someone who thrives working in the evenings.
Position snapshot:
- Location: Cumnor Terrace, Woolston
- Shifts: Sunday to Friday, between 05:00 pm – 01:30 am
- Position: Permanent, full time
Te Tūranga | The Role
As a Store Person, you will ensure the smooth and accurate flow of goods through our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include:
- Picking and packing food products with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensuring all orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time.
- Replenishing stock and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Wrapping pallets and assisting with loading and dispatching.
- Completing routine freezer cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Assisting with stock takes and general warehouse duties.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
- Operating an Aisle Master forklift safely in a freezer/chilled environment.
- Performing heavy lifting of up to 20–25 kg.
- Carrying out repetitive lifting and movement throughout your shift in a physically demanding environment.
You’ll be working in a temperature‑controlled environment, so being comfortable with chilled or freezer conditions is essential.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, physical role and brings:
- Previous experience in pick packing, inwards goods, logistics or warehousing.
- Ability to work in chilled or freezer environments.
- Physical fitness and confidence with heavy lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
- Good time management skills.
- Intermediate literacy and numeracy skills.
- Scanning and computer skills (advantageous).
- A current forklift licence (advantageous).
- Reliable transport and flexibility with night shifts.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A good understanding of health and safety requirements.
