General Workshop Assistant
The position involves assisting with day-to-day workshop operations including production support, packing, dispatch preparation, machine assistance, and general workshop duties to help maintain efficient workflow.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting with workshop and production tasksSupporting machine operators where required
Preparing and packing customer orders
Organizing materials and maintaining workflow
General cleaning and housekeeping
Completing basic paperwork and production records
Assisting other staff as required
General warehouse and workshop duties
Hours of work
For the first 6 months (or until fully competent to work independently), the role will operate on:
Monday to Friday8:00am – 4:30pm
Once fully trained, the role will transition into an afternoon shift position.

Forklift experience beneficial but not essential
Previous workshop, factory, or warehouse experience preferred, however training will be provided to the right person
