About the RoleWe are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Day of Surgery Admissions (DOSA) team at Waikato Hospital. You will be trained to work across both our preprocedure and postprocedure areaspreparing patients for their surgery and caring for them as they recover afterwards.
You will play a key part in ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and safe during what can be an anxious time.This is a dynamic, fastpaced environment where your nursing expertise and calm presence make a meaningful difference.Key responsibilities:Complete preoperative assessmentsCoordinate patient flowProvide education and reassurance to patientsMonitor patients post-procedure to ensure they are ready for discharge Click here to view the position description.
