Truck drivers

We are currently seeking two experienced truck drivers to join our team.

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Possession of a clean Class 5 New Zealand driver's license or an equivalent overseas license.
• A minimum of two years of demonstrable experience in a relevant field is required.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Demonstrated physical fitness.
• Commitment to being drug-free.

The responsibilities of this role include:

• Adhering to all road codes and traffic guidelines.
• Operating the truck in a safe and responsible manner.
• Navigating using maps and selecting the most efficient routes.
• Ensuring the safety and security of the load.
• Complying with all health and safety regulations.
• Reporting any incidents that occur.
• Conducting regular vehicle checks and reporting any maintenance issues.
• The role includes the responsibility for the loading and unloading of the truck, ensuring all cargo is handled with care and in compliance with safety standards.
• Maintenance of the vehicle's cleanliness is a key aspect of the role, with a requirement to wash the truck on a weekly basis.
• The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively, under supervision or independently, is essential for this position.

The work will primarily be located within the Canterbury region. The typical work timings will be from 3:30 AM to 5:30 PM, including weekends.
