Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
The Opportunity
As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out technical maintenance and repair work with precision, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations, company policies, and industry standards. You will play a critical role in maintaining the safety, efficiency, and reliability of aircraft operations.
You will be part of a dedicated team performing inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and adherence to aviation maintenance protocols. Whether working in a hangar, workshop, or on-site, you will contribute to the seamless operation of aircraft maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform technical maintenance, inspections, and repairs in accordance with aviation regulations, manufacturer instructions, and company standards.
- Adhere to established safety protocols and quality assurance measures to ensure aircraft airworthiness.
- Complete documentation, including maintenance logs, technical reports, and ERP system updates.
- Organize and manage tools, equipment, and ground support systems for maintenance tasks.
- Ensure proper handling and usage of aviation tools and components.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve maintenance issues and implement modifications when required.
- Comply with all company policies, regulations, and standard operating procedures.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should be a reliable and professional team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. You must be adaptable to changing priorities and comfortable in a continuous improvement work environment.
Qualifications & Experience- Recognized Aeronautical Engineering certification (minimum Level 4) or equivalent technical training.
- A minimum of three years' post-apprenticeship experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance, structures, and repair processes.
- Familiarity with relevant aviation regulations, standards, and technical documentation.
- Ability to analyze and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and service bulletins.
- Strong commitment to safety, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.
