Class 4/5 Truck Driver

Sunshine Digger & Scaffolding Limited is a supplier of fencing and scaffolding equipment for residential and commercial sites. Operating from Auckland, we currently have a job opening for a Truck Driver to join our team in our business.

Work Experience & Qualification: Relevant qualification (e.g. Class 4 or 5 Driver’s license) or 5 years relevant work experience required.

Key Responsibilities of the role to discuss during interview:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Class 4/5 trucks, manoeuvring and positioning the trucks for loading and unloading
• Transport goods to various destinations in a safe and timely manner
• Inspect and maintain trucks, ensuring everything is in working condition.
• Report any issues or faults to management
• Ensure that the appropriate weights and load limitations are being complied with
• Comply with all relevant traffic laws and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate logs as to what is being loaded onto the trucks and where the goods are being transported to
• Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
• Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities if required
