Class 4 Civil Truck Driver - Queenstown

Wilson Contractors is a well-established locally owned and operated company, specialising in civil contracting – we deliver a range of services including bulk earthworks, roading, drainage, infrastructure and siteworks to clients throughout Central Otago, Queenstown Lakes and Southland since 2003.

We are currently looking for a Class 4 Truck Driver to cart material to and from site to fill positions in Queenstown Lakes team as a Class 4 Truck Driver. You will play a key role in transporting a variety of aggregate material throughout Otago and Southland.

We are looking for permanent full time roles working Monday-Friday with some Saturdays as required, minimum 80 hours of work fortnightly.

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join out team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following qualities:

• Class 4 New Zealand Drivers licence - with WTR ideally
• Experience in Civil Construction, would be an advantage
• Tipping and spreading experience would be beneficial
• A great attitude towards the care and maintenance of heavy machinery
• Physically fit
• Able to work unsupervised but also be a proactive team member
• Demonstrate a commitment to health and safety
• Positive can-do attitude and effective communication skills
