Marine Electrician - Blenheim

Waves Electrical 2010 Limited is looking for a keen employee to become a Marine Electrician and a valued member of our small team based in the picturesque Marlborough Sounds.

The opportunity to undertake industry training may be offered to the employee if they demonstrate the correct skill level and enthusiasm for the role.

Work is interesting and varied. On occasions, the job will also require some basic mechanical, plumbing and boat carpentry such as cutting out panels etc., so you would be someone that possesses a range of complementary skills & and has an eye for detail.

Our first requirement is that you have a strong work ethic and good personal presentation. After some time you would be expected to be able to operate with a high level of autonomy, which in turn requires good time management skills & a high level of trustworthiness.

You must have a full NZ drivers license and an interest in boating. A practicing 230V license would be preferred but not essential. Consideration for this position requires that you reside in New Zealand with NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

Wage and package details can be discussed in an interview and will reflect the applicant’s level of skill.
