Store Manager – Café & Eatery | Massey, Auckland

We have a client in Massey, Auckland looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead a well-established café offering quality coffee, hot meals, and desserts. If you're a people-first leader with solid hospitality experience, we want to hear from you!

• Oversee daily operations, including food and beverage quality control and service management.
• Set and implement sales targets, staff rosters, and cost-control plans.
• Manage a team of 10–20 front-of-house and kitchen staff.
• Ensure excellent customer experience and handle feedback or complaints professionally.
• Monitor inventory, manage losses, and improve profitability.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and health regulations.
• Prepare regular sales and performance reports.
• Communicate confidently in both English and Mandarin (preferred).

• 3–5+ years of leadership experience in a café, restaurant, or similar food service setting.
• Skilled in managing front-of-house and kitchen coordination.
• Confident in training, motivating, and building high-performing teams.
• Competent with POS systems and Excel for operational reporting.
• Flexible, calm under pressure, and solutions-focused.
• Excellent customer service mindset and communication skills.
