Payrate: $34 per hour
Minimum Hours of Work Per Week: 30
Cut, stretch, and lay carpet using hand tools and specialist equipment.
Install underlay and tack strips to secure carpets as needed.
Ensure high-quality finishes with clean edges, joins, and trimming.
Repair or replace damaged carpet sections when required.
Liaise with clients to understand installation preferences and provide aftercare advice.
Maintain tools and work areas in a clean, safe condition.
Work both independently and as part of a team across residential and commercial sites.

Key Requirements: At least 2 years or more of relevant experience.
orAt least Level 4 or above relevant qualification.
Key Responsibilities: Measure floor areas and estimate material requirements for each job.
Prepare floors by cleaning, levelling, and smoothing surfaces.Cut, stretch, and lay carpet using hand tools and specialist equipment.
Install underlay and tack strips to secure carpets as needed.
Ensure high-quality finishes with clean edges, joins, and trimming.
