OPPORTUNITY - CATERER
Looking to expand, Marlborough Golf Club has a commercial kitchen available, we require club catering for regular weekly events, tournaments and functions, and there is the option to run a sideline catering business. The clubhouse requirements would be from Wednesday to Sunday.
PART-TIME BAR PERSON
We require a mature reliable Bar Person who has a friendly disposition to manage our cashless JD Spring Bar from Thursday to Sunday, approximately 20/25 hrs a week. This involves greeting our members, serving drinks, handling payments, restocking beverages, maintaining the bar area, and adhering to responsible service of alcohol guidelines.Other duties would include putting our motorised carts in the shed at night, and monitor green fees on Sundays. Also is able to work extended hours for functions, events and over the summer period for business house.
Applicants will need to prove they have:- Comprehensive skills in kitchen, food handling and hospitality experience.
- Pride and great work ethic and commitment to the position.
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
- Ability to operate POS systems and bar equipment.
- Managers Certificate with respect to Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 would be advantageous, but not essential.
Starting Date 1st October 2025.
