Class 2 Truck Driver
Sowman Trucking Ltd is on the search for an experienced and confident Class 2 operator to join our team based in Rotorua.
Duties include, onsite Diesel delivery to various machinery operating on various civil sites, forestry , various port operations and a range of other customers as required. There is a requirement to work 6 days a week.
These roles require you to be: Practical & able to think outside the square, be self-motivated and work autonomously but also as part of a great team.
Have great communication skills, be honest, well presented and be physically fit, healthy and professional.You will be able to follow instructions, cope well under pressure, be flexible and very reliable.
Full training will be provided to the right applicant. This role is not just a fuel delivery role, there are physical aliments which at times can be testing. The driving conditions also vary due to the environment being off road civil sites etc.
This needs to be seriously considered before applying.
Applicants must have: A full Class 2 driver’s license and held a full class 1 drivers license for a minimum of two years.
A dangerous goods license is not required.This position comes with a very competitive starting rate.
You will also be required to undergo a pre-employment Medical and Drug Test
