Christchurch - Access/EWP Field Service Technician

We would also consider a suitably experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanic with an earthmoving or material handling background looking to expand their skills for this position.

What you'll do:

• Repair and maintenance of a wide variety of access equipment including scissor lifts, cherry pickers and boom lifts
• Inspection and certification of our access equipment
• Provide expert assistance to colleagues and customers both in our branches and on customer sites
• Carry out planned maintenance and repairs in the workshop
• Attend to breakdowns and complete scheduled maintenance on customer sites

What you need:

• A mechanical trade qualification in Heavy Automotive Plant and Equipment or similar
• Full Class 1 Driver Licence
• An in depth understanding of Auto Electrical systems is a must and experience in 48V systems would be advantageous
• High attention to detail and strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Having the CBIP1 or EWPA Registered inspector Programme (RIP) qualification would be highly advantageous, but we would support the right candidate to gain this
