Marketing Assistant

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Marketing Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time role (20 hours per week).

You'll be working across a network of dealerships throughout Otago and Southland, representing a portfolio of automotive brands, and supporting the Group Marketing Manager with a wide range of day-to-day marketing tasks.

What You'll Be Doing

• Creating and sending EDMs
• Managing and scheduling social media content
• Writing captions and marketing copy for posts, ads, and EDMs
• Basic video editing for social media (vehicle walkarounds, promos, reels)
• Taking photos of vehicles, events, or in-dealership activity
• Creating simple graphics for digital, paper and POS use (social posts, banners, stories, newspaper ads)
• Assisting with Google Ads or Facebook/Instagram ad campaigns
• Monitoring and responding to social media messages and comments
• Supporting general marketing and admin tasks

• Some experience in digital marketing
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
• Confident communication and organisation skills
• A creative eye and interest in content creation
• Comfortable juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with tools like Canva, Campaign Monitor, Meta Business Suite, or similar (a bonus not a must)
