Nail Technician

We are looking for experienced Nail Technicians for our beautiful nail bar, VALET.

We are looking for exceptional Nail Technicians to add to our growing team.

We wanted to create a nail salon where people come for incredible nail services and enjoy the experience.

We place the highest value on hygienic hand and nail care. Our goal is perfect manicures, healthy nails and hand care, in a space where you can relax.

The place of employment will be in Auckland, at our nail salon on Ponsonby Road. We can offer a range of hours, however weekend work of at least one day is essential.

You will be an ambassador for our brand, offering our customers a high quality professional nail service, at a location where the atmosphere is part of the experience.

Job Description:

• Provide the highest quality manicure and pedicure services for our clients.
• Assess each client and advise on the best service option to suit their individual needs.
• Keep clients informed on nail health, care and maintenance.
• Operate all services while ensuring the high standards of hygiene at VALET are maintained at all times.
• Maintain a tidy and organised workspace and salon.
• Part of your role will also include daily upkeep of the salon, replenishment of stock and stocktake, serving clients, and ensuring the luxurious, clean and organised feel of our space is maintained.

Requirements for successful candidates:

• Previous experience as a Nail Technician – At least three years of Nail experience is required. BIAB - Builder Gel experience is essential, and ideally also Soft Gel, Polygel and/or Dipping Powder.
• High attention to detail and a passion for providing high quality nail services.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to work collaboratively as part of the whole team at VALET.
