- friendly nurse to join our Enhanced School Based Health Services (ESBHS) team.
Our youth health nurses provide high-quality, effective, and safe care to adolescents in a school-based setting.About the roleThis position has two key components:School-based clinic
- youll lead a nurse-run clinic within a designated school, acting as an integrated member of the school community and managing the clinics day-to-day operations.Support across the ESBHS network
- Youll also visit other school clinics to provide additional clinical support alongside their nursing teams.Were currently recruiting for 0.4 FTE, with potential to increase up to 1.0 FTE.
You bring strong clinical assessment skills, a can-do attitude, and excellent communication abilitiesespecially when working across multidisciplinary teams and within the education environment.To be considered, you must:Be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current Practising CertificateHave at least five years experience in youth health or primary careBe passionate about youth health and committed to working at the top of your scopeIdeally, youll hold a postgraduate qualification (preferably in Youth Health Nursing), or be willing to pursue further study; as well as being an Authorised Vaccinator or motivated to become one.What we offerThis is a rewarding opportunity to use your skills and enthusiasm to positively influence youth health outcomes across our district.If this sounds like the right fit for you, and you meet the role requirements, wed love to hear from you
