  • friendly nurse to work alongside school nurses to deliver a high quality, effective and safe service, to adolescents enrolled in the Enhanced School Based Health Services (ESBHS) schools.
Your key area of responsibility will be the Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora
  • Auckland District area Enhanced School Based Health Services Programme.
This role operates as 0.6FTE operating a nurse-led school health clinic and 0.4FTE roaming to other ESBHS school clinics, with a base at Greenlane Clinical Centre.
While this is a 1FTE role, job sharing will be considered for the right applicant.You will be youth-friendly and focused as well as innovative, independent, and have the ability to engage with a range of stakeholders such as school management, School Based Health Service nurses regionally, General Practitioners, clinical psychology staff, Primary Health Organisations and Non-Government Organisations, to provide best practice clinical services across the Programme.At a minimum you must be a NZ Registered Nurse with a current Practising Certificate, five years youth health experience, be a highly skilled communicator, exemplify lifelong learning and have strong youth health nursing skills
  • particularly in the context of school based health care nursing.

In addition to this you would need to have a Post-graduate Diploma in Youth Health Nursing and/or be on a post-graduate pathway.
