Structural Steel Fabricators - West Coast
Nationwide - Roles available across all regions of New Zealand
Pay & Benefits:- $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
- Minimum 30 hours guaranteed per week
- Full-time, permanent roles
- PPE and tools provided
- Opportunity to work on major infrastructure and commercial projects
Positions are full-time and permanent, with site location based on project demand.
Key Responsibilities:- Interpret engineering plans and drawings to accurately place and secure structural steel components
- Tie reinforcement steel using correct techniques for various reinforcement systems
- Collaborate with site teams to ensure timely and safe installation of steelwork
- Comply with all health, safety, and quality standards on-site
- Work efficiently within large construction teams under strict deadlines
- Minimum 2 years' experience working with structural steel placement and reinforcement tying (local or overseas)
- Ability to read and work from technical and engineering drawings
- Strong physical fitness and manual dexterity
- Knowledge of safety procedures and quality control in steel construction
- Experience in commercial, civil, or infrastructure construction projects preferred
- Relevant trade experience or qualifications advantageous

North Island: Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawke’s Bay, Taranaki, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington.South Island: Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, West Coast, Canterbury, Otago, Southland.
