Job Description : SJ Restaurant Limited T/A Pizza Inn is looking for a Shift

Supervisors to work full-time.
Shift Supervisor is expected to work a minimum of 22-28 hours a week
with a weekly payroll. Hours are rostered on a weekly basis and might

include weekend shifts.

Duties and Responsibilities for Shift Supervisor:
  1. Shift Supervisors are responsible for the operation of the
restaurant whilst on shift, maintaining all company policies
and procedures.
  1. Directing the activities of Team Members to make the most
effective contribution to the restaurant operation by
allocating defined responsibilities to each employee and
monitoring performance.
  1. Effectively manage all employees on a shift, adhering to
company guidelines in circumstances requiring employee
counseling or discipline.
  1. To ensure that Team Members follow correct maintenance

procedures in accordance with the established maintenance

  • Shift Supervisors are responsible for the operation of the restaurant whilst on shift, maintaining all company policies and procedures.
  • Directing the activities of Team Members to make the most effective contribution to the restaurant operation by allocating defined responsibilities to each employee and monitoring performance.
  • Effectively manage all employees on a shift, adhering to company guidelines in circumstances requiring employee counseling or discipline.
  • To ensure that Team Members follow correct maintenance procedures in accordance with the established maintenance roster and where necessary arrange emergency repairs within company guidelines.
  • To ensure that controls and procedures necessary to protect the safety of employees and customers, company funds, property and plant are maintained by all employees on any shift under supervision.
  • To instruct trainees on any shift under supervision in correct company procedures.
  • Complete the manual poll procedure and ensure that accurate daily stocktaking figures are entered into the Automated Restaurant Management System.
  • Order all stock in accordance with guidelines pertaining to the allocated shift.

Shift Supervisor Requirements:

  1. Relevant qualification (minimumlevel 7Hospitality or Business) qualification or minimum4 Yearsof full-time management work experience in the hospitality industry.
  2. Good oral/written communication skills.
  3. Must haveLCQ Licenceand Basic computer literacy.

Pay: 24.00
