Team Member

Orchard Cover Limited is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Team Members to join our growing team in the Bay of Plenty region. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to contribute to daily operations, work closely with a supportive team, and develop practical skills while following safety and quality standards.

• Assist in constructing and maintaining orchard shelter structures, including full canopy covers, frames, and protective installations.
• Perform general building, repair, and maintenance duties consistent with handyman tasks, ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain machinery and tools such as compact track loaders, power tools, and lifting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work at heights (typically 5–6 metres) using approved safety gear and follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
• Install support posts, frames, and cover materials according to project specifications and supervisor instructions.
• Carry out ground preparation and site maintenance, including clearing, levelling, and assisting with machinery movement.
• Inspect and maintain equipment and tools regularly to ensure safe operation and readiness for daily tasks.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials and tools across worksites.
• Follow project plans, supervisor directions, and safety requirements to complete installations on time and to standard.
• Perform other general labour or maintenance duties as required to support orchard cover construction projects.

Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $24.00 to $30 per hour.
