Rural Delivery Driver - Part-time

Being a rural delivery driver is just the ticket for those looking for an enjoyable part-time job with the ability to pick up extra hours.

• One part-time driver for 20 hours per week, + holiday cover
• One casual driver for relief work and holiday cover - there will be work each week, with changing days depending on their needs that week

• Collecting a vehicle each morning and loading mail/parcels/newspapers
• Delivering mail/parcels/newspapers on a set run
• Interacting with customers as needed throughout the run
• Enjoying the South Canterbury scenery!

• Honest, reliable, and mature candidates who genuinely want part-time or casual work
• Great communication and customer service skills - you will interact with your customers from time to time
• Good time management - no alarm clock fails here!
• Confident driving on the open road
• Physically fit and able to get in and out of your vehicle as needed during your shift
• Proactive approach to health and safety
• Able to provide work references that are contactable by phone
• Able to pass drug screening
