You'll be the type of person who takes a hands-on approach to safety while fostering a high performing, positive culture- someone who thrives in a competitive and dynamic business environment.This role will see you looking after one of our biggest clients (MyFoodBag) on Sundays from our Hornby location, and Monday to Thursday, you'll be at our Mowbray Street location.
You'll lead a dedicated team of 9 Processing Officers and Charge Hands and support them to ensure parcels and product is sorted to achieve performance targets.
You'll also take ownership of the rostering, resourcing, and overall performance of the team.Our 'Safety Always' approach to health, safety and wellbeing of our people underpins all that we do and is core to our business.
We are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience in injury prevention, early intervention and continuous improvement.
Shift: Sunday: 10:30- 19:00 (Hornby)Monday to Thursday: 07:00
- 15:30 (flexible to start earlier if needed) What do we need from you:Proven experience in leading teams and people managementAbility to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and the wider leadership teamExcellent communication skills to elevate the team culture and team performanceProven skills in MS Office A passion for upholding the NZ Post valuesAbility to clearly assign tasks and set objectivesHave a current OSH FL Certificate or F Endorsement or be willing to obtain one Are you keen to start your journey with us?
