As an Engine Overhaul Technician, you will work closely with the Engine Shop Manager to restore and remanufacture historic aircraft engines. This hands-on role involves manufacturing precision components, assisting with aircraft assembly, and ensuring strict adherence to quality assurance and safety standards.
- Key Responsibilities
Restore and remanufacture WWI aircraft engines.
Manufacture components to engineering drawings.
Assist with aircraft assembly when required.
Maintain accurate work records and comply with QA procedures.
Work efficiently to meet agreed timeframes and company standards.- What We’re Looking For
Experience with fabrication and/or welding.
Trade Certificate or NCEA level 4 qualification in engine reconditioning.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and undertake further training.
