Motel Staff
We are looking for a contractor motel minder and housekeeper role combine together.
For Motel Minder:You are responsible for the temporary day-to-day management. This includes guest services, check-ins and check-outs, reservations, housekeeping tasks, and ensuring the security and cleanliness of the property. At least 2 days a week.
Key Responsibilities: Manage front desk duties including guest check-in and check-out
Take and manage phone, email, and online bookingsRespond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues
Handle basic accounts and payments using the booking system
Perform light housekeeping duties (e.g. checking room cleanliness, restocking supplies)
Provide a friendly and professional service to guests
Skills and Experience: preferably experience in motel management or relevant educational qualifications
Good communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and solve problems
Competence in using motel management software
Trustworthy, reliable, and flexible with availability
Basic understanding of cleaning standards and health & safety requirements
For Housekeeper Role:We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Motel Cleaner to join our team across multiple locations in Whangarei. This is an on-call position with flexible hours.
Key Details:Schedule: A few days per week, including weekends and public holidays.
Shift Times: Starts between 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM; finish times vary based on workload.
Work Arrangement: On-call basis—you’ll receive a text from the manager the day prior if needed.
Requirements: Prior cleaning experience preferred but not essential (training provided).
Ability to work independently and efficiently.Reliable transport to multiple motel locations.
Flexibility to work weekends/public holidays as required.
