Regional H&S Coordinator

Adecco is seeking a Regional H&S Coordinator for a client in the compliance division. This is an on-site role based in **Queenstown**. Our client is a global leader in water, waste management, and energy services, employing over 215,000 people across 56 countries.

This role involves leading and developing the strategic direction of health and safety across the region. The successful candidate will provide expert guidance and support to enable effective risk management and will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Health and Safety Plan for all operations.

The position requires maintaining OHSAS 18001:2007 and AS/NZS 4801 certification standards and driving continuous improvement in health and safety performance.

The Regional Safety Coordinator will report to the Regional Lead and manage Health & Safety Advisors.

What you will Do?
  • Lead the strategic direction of the zones Health & Safety program
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Health and Safety Plans for all sites
  • Coordinate and oversee contractor/subcontractor health and safety
  • Manage protective equipment and clothing requirements
  • Ensure compliance with HSW Act and other relevant legislation
Your Skills
  • Relevant degree, certificate, or diploma in Health and Safety
  • Experience in Three Waters infrastructure operations would be highly advantageous.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access
  • Excellent communication skills - oral and written
  • Familiarity with databases and effective documentation skills
