Greenkeeper
Royal Auckland and Grange Golf Club (in Papatoetoe) is a 27-hole facility. We have 34 putting greens on the property along with approximately 2.5ha of bentgrass tees and over 20ha of couch grass fairways. We also have exciting technology such as SubAir, Better Billy Bunker, Rainbird irrigation, moisture management systems (Pogo), Human resource and consumable tracking software (Task Tracker), drone technology and of course extremely high-quality turf.
Since 1894 our golf club has a long and proud history and has recently completed a major rebuild project. Our playing surfaces are world-class, and we are looking for a positive individual who wants to get into the Turf industry and learn about greenkeeping.Applicants should have high standards, have a high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, is a team player, be passionate about learning and enjoy the outdoors.
Greenkeeping is an outdoor vocation. Candidates must enjoy working outdoors. It is also a physical job which demands a level of fitness.
Successful candidates will enjoy working with a motivated team in a fun environment. You will have the opportunity to initiate a successful career in the turf industry working with some of the best greenkeepers in New Zealand.
Our team work attractive hours. We start early and finish early and work a half day on Fridays.
