Exterior Cleaning technician and Area lead

About the Role

This is a hands-on role with leadership responsibility. You’ll be the face of our Mangawhai branch, managing jobs, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring high-quality results every time.

You will:

• Complete exterior washing jobs (soft wash, pressure wash, gutters, decks, driveways, roof treatments, commercial & residential work)
• Lead day-to-day workflow across Mangawhai
• View properties and provide accurate quoting
• Provide exceptional customer service onsite
• Maintain and operate our equipment safely
• Ensure all work meets Wash Rite standards
• Liaise directly with management
• Uphold Health & Safety best practices

What We’re Looking For

To hit the ground running, you MUST have:

• Proven experience in exterior house washing (minimum 2–4 years)
• Confidence working at height (Height Safety Certification required & must be comfortable working on steep roofs and using a harness)
• Strong understanding of soft wash and chemical application
• A clean NZ driver license
• Reliability, professionalism, and a high standard of workmanship
• Ability to work independently and communicate well with clients

Bonus points if you have:

• Experienced in commercial work
• Leadership or team management experience
