We’re looking for a friendly, reliable Kitchen Supervisor to join our small team at Hawkes Ridge Wine Estate, located in the beautiful countryside of Maraekakaho, Hastings.
This is a seasonal, permanent part-time role, perfect for someone who enjoys working in a relaxed, rural setting and has a passion for food and hospitality.- Hours:
Friday: 10am – 8pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10am – 5pm
Additional weekday shifts between Christmas and early January (2 weeks)Occasional extra hours for events as required

- What you’ll be doing:
- Running our small cellar door kitchen
- and serving simple, high-quality food – mainly wood-fired pizzas and platters
- Managing food prep and cleanliness to meet food safety standards
- Working closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
- Helping create a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere for our guests
- What we’re looking for:
- Ideally, some experience running a small kitchen or in a similar hospitality role
- Someone who is organised, confident, and happy to work independently
- A good communicator who enjoys working as part of a team
- Full training provided – we’re happy to support the right person to grow into the role!
