Retail Assistant – Vape Retail (Miramar)

About the Role:**

We’re looking for a reliable, customer-focused Retail Assistant to join our team in a specialist vape and convenience retail store. You’ll support the Store Manager with day-to-day operations, assist customers, manage transactions, and help maintain high standards across the store.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys retail, works well independently, and understands the vape industry.

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Handle EFTPOS and POS transactions accurately
• Check IDs and follow NZ vape regulations at all times
• Restock shelves and keep the store clean and tidy
• Follow daily task checklists (cleaning, stock, displays)
• Report issues or concerns to the Store Manager
• Answer customer questions with factual, compliant information

• Previous retail or hospitality experience preferred
• Must be 18+ (due to legal requirements)
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, honest, and able to work solo when required
• Knowledge of vape products or experience in the vape industry is a strong advantage
• Able to work some weekends and public holidays
