About the Role
As a Paediatric Physiotherapist within the Child Development Service (CDS), you will work directly with children and their whanau in the community, providing person-centred physiotherapy that promotes independence, movement, and engagement. You will have access to individual consult rooms, a purpose-built gym, and dedicated resources to help deliver group and one-on-one therapy.
This 0.45 FTE (18 hours per week) role is perfect for a clinician seeking a meaningful part-time role with flexibility and purpose.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The Child Development Service is based in Tauranga at the heart of the beautiful Bay of Plenty with modern, purpose-built premises. Our multidisciplinary team includes Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Allied Health Assistants, Speech-Language Therapists, Dietitians, Social Workers, Psychology, and Administration.

About you
We seek an experienced Paediatric Physiotherapist who is values-driven and family-focused. You are looking for a supportive environment where your contributions are valued, and you are encouraged to keep learning.
What you will bring:
- Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of NZ and a valid Annual Practicing Certificate
- Experience working with children aged 0 to 16 years
- A full NZ driver's licence
- Familiarity with Enable New Zealand processes and knowledge of the New Zealand health system
